- Foli Badjuda or Maad fruit
Want to add a unique tropical twist to your diet? Try our Foli Badjuda in jars!
Grown on African savannah vines, Foli Badjuda fruit is harvested after the first rains and boasts a tart-sweet flavor. With its juicy, yellow pulp and calcium-rich profile, it's perfect for a refreshing juice or a sweet snack.
In Guinea Bissau, we nibble / suck on these as they are. Some people decide because of its strong sour but sweetish flavour to dip it in either sugar or occasionally salt.
Crafted by Zena Exotic Fruits, a family-owned, eco-friendly company from Dakar, Senegal, each purchase supports education for children in Senegal and promotes African culture.
